Doha, Qatar — Tesla has opened reservations for its next-generation Roadster in Qatar, allowing customers to secure the electric sports car with total reservation payments starting at QR 210,000.

The announcement follows the unveiling of the redesigned Tesla Roadster in Texas in October 2026, where the company demonstrated its latest performance technology, including advanced aerodynamics, extreme acceleration and a rocket-assisted version capable of performing airborne manoeuvres.

Customers in Qatar can reserve two versions of the Roadster — Performance and Thrust — while a third configuration, known as Rocket, will be available exclusively by invitation.

Tesla Roadster Reservation Prices in Qatar

1. Tesla Roadster Performance — QR 210,000

The Roadster Performance is designed for road use, combining a two-seat configuration with active aerodynamics and a multi-mode suction system engineered to generate significant downforce and improve handling.

Reservation payment breakdown:

  • Initial refundable deposit: QR 20,000

  • Additional payment within 10 days: QR 190,000

  • Total reservation payment: QR 210,000

The Performance configuration is positioned as the road-focused version of Tesla’s next-generation electric sports car.

2. Tesla Roadster Thrust — QR 1,020,000

The limited-release Roadster Thrust introduces additional cold-gas thrusters at the rear of the vehicle, designed to deliver extreme acceleration.

According to Tesla, the Thrust configuration can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (approximately 97 km/h) in under one second, placing it among the company’s most ambitious performance projects.

Reservation payment breakdown:

  • Initial refundable deposit: QR 20,000

  • Additional payment within 10 days: QR 1,000,000

  • Total reservation payment: QR 1,020,000

Due to its limited availability, Tesla restricts Thrust reservations to one per customer.

3. Tesla Roadster Rocket — Invitation Only

The most advanced configuration, the Roadster Rocket, is designed around a single-seat layout and a system of cold-gas thrusters positioned around the vehicle.

Tesla claims the system will enable forward and upward acceleration, along with rotational movements while airborne.

Unlike the Performance and Thrust configurations, the Rocket version is available by invitation only, and Tesla has not announced a reservation price.

The company also states that the Rocket configuration is not approved for public-road use, with availability subject to regional regulations.

Are These the Final Tesla Roadster Prices?

No. Tesla’s reservation amounts are not the final vehicle purchase prices.

The QR 210,000 Performance and QR 1,020,000 Thrust figures represent reservation payments that may be applied towards the eventual purchase of the vehicle.

Tesla has not confirmed the final retail prices, which are expected to be determined closer to production and vehicle configuration.

Customers should also review Tesla’s reservation agreement, which sets out the applicable cancellation and refund conditions before entering into a final vehicle purchase agreement.

When Will the Tesla Roadster Arrive in Qatar?

Tesla has not announced a confirmed delivery date for the next-generation Roadster in Qatar.

The vehicle was originally introduced in 2017 and has undergone several development delays. Following its latest unveiling in Texas, Tesla indicated that production is targeted to begin in 2028, although this remains a production target rather than a guaranteed delivery timeline.

The latest Roadster represents Tesla’s effort to redefine high-performance electric driving through advanced aerodynamics, electric propulsion and technology developed in collaboration with SpaceX.

For customers in Qatar, reservations provide an opportunity to secure a place in the reservation process, while final pricing, delivery schedules and local availability remain subject to further confirmation.
