In a call to forge alliances, build bridges, and sculpt a world where unity triumphs, weaving a tapestry of hope and shared aspirations across borders, the Qatar National Museum in Doha on January 4 witnessed the grand launch of international companies Fangda Partners, The Belt and Road Trading and Contracting, Gallery Five International and SW International.

Crafted by The Belt and Road Trading and Contracting, the four international firms specializing in different sectors were launched amidst the grandeur of the iconic museum.

Distinguished figures like The Belt and Road Group Chairman Pegasus Wong, Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development President Qaisar Nawab, Gallery Five International Partner Dick Leung, National Association of Women in Construction in Qatar (NAWIC) President Billie Teshich, Partner at Fangda Partners Collin Law and SW International Hong Kong Founder Lowell Lo graced the stage with a lot of wisdom and insights through their inspiring and informative speeches.

Pegasus Wong, also the chairman of Gallery Five Internationals, extended heartfelt appreciation to these luminaries, underscoring their profound impact on the evening's significance.

The museum, a hallowed space embodying Qatar's cultural heritage, witnessed the convergence of global thought leaders—a symphony of diverse ideas fostering unity. Each partner's narrative was a tapestry of innovation and shared aspirations, setting the stage for transformative collaboration. In this ambiance, the mesmerizing live creation, "One World, Peaceful World," came to life—an evocative testament to the shared pursuit of global harmony.

The profound insights shared by speakers ignited sparks of possibility, kindling hopes for groundbreaking collaborations—profound thanks to all attendees, representing multifaceted perspectives, for gracing the evening with their esteemed presence.

“This unforgettable convergence transcends mere celebration—it signifies a rallying call. A call to forge alliances, build bridges, and sculpt a world where unity triumphs, weaving a tapestry of hope and shared aspirations across borders,” Wong said on the occasion.

“Heartfelt appreciation extends to the Qatar National Museum—a bastion of cultural richness—and Qatar, embracing unity in diversity,” he said.

Talking to Qatar Tribune on the sidelines of the event, Wong said, “Tonight is a critical moment and journey for us. Tonight, we have four international companies launching in Qatar. Besides One Belt and Road Trading and Contracting, others are international accounting and audit firms and international law firms. These companies have thousands of employees all around the world. Now, they have come into Qatar to support enterprises and various government projects and work as a link between Hong Kong, China, and Qatar.”

Qatar has emerged as one of the prominent trade hubs in the Middle East after the success of FIFA World Cup, he said adding, “On the location, Qatar is where we could help, and it is near to Saudi Arabia. And we realized that it is the right time to start in Qatar because we can foresee its bright future.”

Highlighting the launch of the four companies in Qatar as the inaugural step towards expansion in the Middle East, he said, “The launch symbolizes a joint commitment to innovation and excellence, with plans to set new benchmarks across Qatar and the wider GCC region. It is a significant leap forward in the realm of infrastructure, luxury interior design, IT, trading, accounting, law, and others to promote elevated experiences for esteemed customers in this region.”

Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development President Qaisar Nawab, who also spoke to Qatar Tribune on the sidelines of the event, said that the launch of four international companies in Doha tonight shows the importance of Qatar in the Belt and Road Initiative of China.

“China is a key player in many regional and international development challenges due to its size. Without China's involvement, global environmental problems cannot be resolved. The worldwide demand is also significantly influenced by China's expanding economy. Qatar’s geographical location and its importance in world politics make the country an important destination for Chinese firms along the lines of the Belt and Road initiative,” he said.

“Qatar is very active in the international arena and any country that is more active in global politics will attract more business as businesses are more aligned to politics as well. To promote business, bridging the people from different parts of the world is very important and Qatar plays a very important role in this aspect,” he said.

“I believe that Qatar has a lot of potential to promote Belt and Road projects as well and it can be another gateway to the Middle East, Africa, and Europe for this initiative. Qatar can bridge the global north and global south and contribute to eradicating poverty through the Belt and Road initiative,” he said.
