Doha, Qatar — 27 October 2026: The fourth edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2026 officially opened today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), bringing together government officials, investors, developers, financial institutions and real estate experts to explore the future of Qatar’s property market.
Held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the three-day forum runs from 27 to 29 October, coinciding with Cityscape Qatar.
Organised by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) in partnership with Informa Tharawat, the event features more than 70 speakers and 60 exhibitors, offering a platform for investment discussions, regulatory developments, technological innovation and industry collaboration.
Stability, Transparency and Investor Confidence
Under the theme “Stability as an Asset Class,” this year’s forum explores the factors shaping the resilience and long-term attractiveness of Qatar’s real estate market.
H.E. Mohammed bin Hassan Al Malki, President of Aqarat, emphasised the importance of strengthening a real estate environment built on confidence and transparency, while creating sustainable opportunities for investors and developers.
He highlighted the forum’s role in bringing together public and private sector stakeholders, supporting knowledge exchange, identifying investment opportunities and developing partnerships that contribute to the sector’s continued growth.
Holding the forum alongside Cityscape Qatar is also expected to strengthen engagement between local and international stakeholders.
Three Days Covering Investment, Technology and the Future of Cities
The forum’s programme is structured around three major themes.
Day 1 — 27 October: Market Stability and Regulation
The opening day focuses on Qatar’s investment environment, regulatory frameworks and market stability.
Sessions explore regional real estate investment trends, GCC regulatory developments, the role of private capital in economic diversification and the relationship between investor confidence and property development.
Discussions also address environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards, sustainable construction, quality of life and the role of retail and hospitality in strengthening Qatar’s appeal as a lifestyle and investment destination.
Day 2 — 28 October: Investment and Financing
The second day focuses on practical investment strategies, including real estate valuation, market data, portfolio diversification, institutional investment and financing instruments.
Dedicated sessions will examine Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), digital asset tokenisation and strategies for generating returns from property investments.
The programme will also consider opportunities and challenges for new and small-scale investors seeking to enter Qatar’s real estate market.
Day 3 — 29 October: Quality of Life and Future Cities
The final day will explore health-centred real estate development, artificial intelligence in urban planning, smart technologies and the future of residential communities.
Sessions will examine Qatar’s attractiveness as a destination to live, work and invest, alongside the importance of healthcare, education, connectivity and family-friendly neighbourhood design.
The programme will also address Qatar’s long-term urban development strategy and include a dedicated discussion on the new Owners’ Associations Law, highlighting considerations for property owners and developers.
Innovation Stage to Connect Developers, Investors and Industry Experts
In addition to the Main Stage programme, the forum features a dedicated Innovation Stage bringing together developers, investors, architects, brokers, engineers, financial experts and technology leaders.
Through panel discussions, specialised presentations, case studies and live demonstrations, the stage will highlight emerging opportunities and practical solutions shaping the future of Qatar’s real estate sector.
The Innovation Stage also aims to encourage collaboration between traditional real estate businesses and emerging technology providers.
Interactive Workshops and Participation Certificates
The forum will also host interactive workshops on the first floor of DECC, separate from the Innovation Stage.
These sessions are designed to provide practical insights into real estate challenges and opportunities while encouraging participants to exchange professional knowledge and experiences.
According to the organisers, participants will be able to register for workshops in advance and receive a certificate of participation.
The workshops complement the wider conference programme by connecting strategic industry discussions with practical applications and professional development opportunities.
Supporting the Future of Qatar’s Real Estate Sector
Mohammed Makki, Director of Real Estate Investment at Aqarat, explained that the forum’s programme addresses the questions investors consider before making investment decisions.
He highlighted the progression from market stability and regulatory frameworks on the first day to investment instruments and financing on the second, followed by quality of life and future cities on the third.
Through its discussions, exhibitions, workshops and networking opportunities, the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2026 aims to strengthen investor confidence, encourage innovation and support sustainable development across Qatar’s real estate sector.
