Visit Qatar Launches Qatar Through Your Lens Competition for Content Creators

Doha, Qatar — October 1, 2025

Visit Qatar has launched Qatar Through Your Lens, an exclusive content creation competition inviting locals and residents to showcase the nation’s culture, lifestyle, and experiences through their own creativity.

The competition runs from October 1 until December 15, 2025, with winners to be announced in the first week of January 2026.

A Celebration of Creativity

Participants are invited to submit short videos (30–60 seconds) or photos that highlight Qatar’s unique character. Submissions must be original, culturally appropriate, not edited by AI tools, and aligned with one of the competition’s themes:

• Qatar by Night 🌙

• Beach & Coastal 🏖️

• Arts, Culture & Heritage 🎨

• Sports Events ⚽

• Culinary 🍴

Entries must be posted on Instagram with the hashtags #QatarThroughYourLens and #ViewQatar, while tagging the official Visit Qatar account. Multiple entries are allowed.

Prizes & Rewards

The competition features QAR 375,000 in cash prizes across two categories, in addition to exclusive rewards and recognition opportunities.

• 🥇 1st place: QAR 100,000

• 🥈 2nd place: QAR 50,000

• 🥉 3rd place: QAR 30,000

• 4th place: QAR 20,000

• 5th place: QAR 10,000

• 6th–10th place: vouchers worth QAR 15,000 (QAR 3,000 each)

• 🥇 1st place: QAR 60,000

• 🥈 2nd place: QAR 40,000

• 🥉 3rd place: QAR 20,000

• 4th place: QAR 10,000

• 5th place: QAR 5,000

Judging & Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated by a panel comprising Visit Qatar representatives and Qatar-based creative professionals. Criteria include:

• Creativity & originality

• Visual & technical quality

• Storytelling & emotional impact

• Relevance to theme

• Effectiveness of caption/title in reflecting the creative
