Throwback Food Festival Returns to Old Doha Port for Its Third Edition During Ramadan

Visit Qatar has officially announced the return of the Throwback Food Festival for its highly anticipated third edition, scheduled to take place from 16 February until the end of Ramadan at Old Doha Port.

The festival offers visitors a nostalgic culinary journey through time, celebrating iconic food trends and flavors inspired by the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. This year’s edition will feature 30 participating vendors and restaurants, including regional participants from across the Middle East, all presenting menus that recreate and reinterpret beloved dishes from past decades.

Beyond its diverse dining experiences, the festival will transform Old Doha Port into a retro-themed destination, complete with period-inspired décor, immersive ambiance, and entertainment programming designed to reflect the distinctive spirit of earlier eras.

Positioned as a family-friendly Ramadan attraction, the Throwback Food Festival aims to provide visitors with a unique blend of nostalgia, cultural storytelling, and vibrant community engagement throughout the holy month.
